Current limitations

Hidden route — draft only

• AI Assist is not listed in the sidebar. Open /t/{subdomain}/ai directly.
• Helpers are draft-only and never auto-publish.
• Heuristic parsing works offline; an OpenAI API key is optional for richer extraction later.

Natural language absence

1. Open /t/{subdomain}/ai.
2. Paste free text such as “Sam is off sick tomorrow”.
3. Review the draft JSON the parser produces.
4. Optionally confirm to create the absence (still a draft cover proposal — publish from Today).

All runs are auditable.

Document paste → hints

1. Paste text from an existing rota document.
2. Review suggested people names and zone hints.
3. Use the hints to guide Staff / Setup configuration — nothing is applied automatically.
